Microsoft lost the battle in the EU regarding the Media Player. But I don't understand the charge.What's wrong with packing the Media Player with Windows (I don't use it because it's not working as good as I want it to)?Post a commentI think the EU or the world for that matter should charge system builders for selling Windows-only computers. I think that people are happy with Windows just because they don't know better. And I think there are so much Windows applications for sale just because there is no real competition.
Imagine that 10 years ago the market would allow users to choose between Windows or something else (there were a lot of choices but they al disappeared in time because they couldn't get there feet on the ground). I think the market would be totally different.
Just my two cents on the subject.
