07 Dec: Apple, please deliver a 15" MacBook Pro with 1920x1200 resolution

Because I'm still planning to upgrade my laptop and I want to switch to something different from Windows I want to buy a MacBook Pro
Switching to Linux is not possible for me, see my article: "Why (especially Adobe) and other companies should support Linux".

The only thing that's really bothering me is the lack of high resolutions on small screens. I own a Dell Inspirion 9100 (15") with a native resolution of 1920x1200 and loving it (besides the fact it runs Windows).

Switching to a MacBook Pro reduces my desktop real estate with 33%.

Please Steve, deliver a 15" MacBook Pro with a native resolution of 1920x1200.

I have felt that way for so long. Apple did that when they changed the displays on the MacBook Pro's. The 17 inch one has higher resolution but you have to pay more for it and its a lot bulkier. They should totally bring higher res back. - vineet

wow yeah, that must be tiny, you must still be young and have amazing eyesight :) A friend bought an Alienware laptop with a 17" at that res and still ended up running it at a lower res after a couple of weeks because it was just too small :)

Wow.. 1920x1200 on a 15" screen? I have good eyes, but that be a killer on me. Using a virtual desktop (aka Spaces on Mac) might be a good alternative on the 15" screen. I doubt we'll see that kind of resolution on the 15" any time soon.

1680x1050 on a 15" would be perfect for me. Just anything more than what they offer right now, pleeeeease!
