Just a simple FYI: When building an AIR file with Flex Builder and you configured a custom icon do not uncheck the "Copy non-embedded files in output folder" in the Flex Compile sheet of your Project properties. Otherwise the AIR builder cannot find the icons and gives you a 303 error.
